Just what will all the loyal customers do now that French FAULTY Towers has closed due to the proprietor Thierry retiring. For 6 wonderful years we have enjoyed the quirkiness of this cafe. Steak knives for butter knives,French back packer wait staff who charge $400.00 for a cup of coffee by mistake on the swipe & go machine, but we... More

This cafe is filthy, the staff are rude and the food it stale. It's obvious the pastries are de-frosted and not fresh. The bread is overpriced... and it's 'L'Ami Du Pain' not 'De Pain'. By the way I am French and have family ties in the bakery industry in France. An embarrassment to have this place representing the French!

Nice little cafe. Thought the service was good, not brilliant. I had a pie which was nice - was hoping they had the Bourguignon pie but was not available. Wife had a Danish - good but not great.

The secret is out, the best little French cafe outside FRANCE.. There is a lot of french magic in this little cafe, sit out side with your dog, or inside & listen to the old french music . Beautiful traditional french cuisine, from sourdough, bread to wonderful chocolate delights.

We stopped by here and we were enticed by outdoor seating in the shade. We experienced great coffee and friendly service. The baguette sandwiches were made fresh to order and I would 100% recommend the almond croissant. Very tasty and no crumbs left on the plate!

I can't understand why this place is so popular? It's seriously daggy, which could be overlooked if the food / coffee was decent - which it absolutely is not. The only reason I think this place does well is that people are enticed by the French name (great tip if you are planning to start up a business - give... More

.... and I have tested a LOT of florentines. I guess it is a good sign that getting here at 9am means there is not fresh bread to buy, as it has already all been bought. A nightmare if you are trying to avoid sweet treats - as everything here is delicious, and I have made it my business to... More

Bumbling service. Slow. Frustrating and not very good food. Nonchalant and not very helpful. They get the orders wrong. Coffee too hot one day. Too cold the next.

My partner and I came by to have a quick bite to eat. My partner had been there before to have a coffee, hence why we were returning our business. We ordered a spinach and brie quiche, soy latte and a toasted banana bread. I asked the blonde girl to heat the quiche and toast the banana bread. My quiche... More

I work there and this is a terrible place to eat. Some of the pastries/cakes stay on the trays or on display for at least 3 weeks and are sold even if they are all dry or with mould. You can see on the picture attached the caramel has mold and the boss "Thierry" asked the staff to just remove... More
