Waited 20 minutes for two serves of gf toast and some slices of tomato. There were not many other people in the cafe and another lady was waiting for a slice of quiche since before we arrived. Not highly impressive to say the least..

Small out of the way cafe. It has changed hands since we were last there, but the food was delicious, coffee great, and a good menu. We had a salad which was delicious and tasty. We didn't sample the sweets, but they looked fabulous!

We came here for coffee & cake on a cold winter morning, and it was nice that a fire was going to help warm things up and make things cozy. Coffees were standard, and the place itself looked a bit old and dingy. For cake we had a blueberry cake (which was warmed up), and a carrot cake with cream... More

This is a very friendly cafe suitable for a quiet coffee and cake or lunch. They are able to cater for children. Staff are alway very polite and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the serves of food are large!

We go for the scones, jam and cream.I have had the blueberry and almond tart also. The apple pie is great and the coffee nice. The restaurant is quaint and not sophisticated but the staff are friendly (as are the other people enjoying a relaxing cuppa) The food is well cooked and attractive. Prices are good and in cold weather... More

Normally when in Albany I'll stop here for lunch or a coffee. The food is always spot on, a nice range of choices and its always fresh. The staff are always friendly and the place has a number of choices of where to sit, inside on cool days, out on the footpath on a lovely Albany sunny day.

Description
Welcome to the "NEW" Jades @ 14 Peels Place. My name is Jade and I am the new owner of 14 Peels Place. I am a chef by trade and over many years have worked for top class restaurants, cafes and lunchbars. Combining all this knowledge and experience I am now fulfilling my dream of owning my own cafe. I welcome you to Jades@14 Peels Place to try my cuisine. My menu will be updated to please the customers, with a class cafe menu, including gluten free dishes. Sit down in the comfy cafe (open fire when cold), the alfreso ( buckets of water for your pooches) and throw rugs for you. If you are in a hurry grab a coffee and takeaway snack. We have water views over the harbour from the cafe which makes for a tranquil place to eat, relax and take your mind off the every day stresses. Newspapers are supplied for you to keep up with the daily news. We haven't forgotten the children - they can have their own desk and chair to do their colouring in, their own babycinno, child size meals giving mum and dad a break to enjoy their coffee and food. If you have a group of up to 8 people for a meeting, seminar, a family gathering, group gathering etc the ideal room is available for such an occassion. Telephone 98474224 to make a booking. If you would like catering for corporate functions, parties, weddings etc . My valued staff and I look forward to seeing you at Jades @ 14 Peels Place.
