Like the Carrington hotel which the restaurant is associated with, this establishment provided a great experience through enthusiastic staff, a tasty menu and a conivial atmosphere and all for very reasonable pricing.

Incredible food, honestly couldn't commend it enough. Everything had beautiful flavor and cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and excellent drink selection. If you're in the upper mountains I would suggest this for a drink and/or dinner.

A really nice pub situated next to the Carrington Hotel. Food and service was excellent. Selection of food and size of serving was more than adequate!! A great selection of beer as well! Overall a very happy find in Katoomba 😊

Some excellent beer on tap and available in bottles too. Apparently the wine selection is also good - says my wife. We chose to eat from the bar menu which, although limited offered a good range of food. Olives and bread was a surprise with massive amount of olives and bread supplied instead of the usual handful. Great value. Great... More

Can't fault the food or service, nice craft beer selection, great layout and beautiful decor. The pub has a great feel and live music was awesome. Civilised clientele with groovy energy. Meals were a good size, reasonably priced and would make this our local if we lived there.

Old City Bank in the center of Katoomba is a genuine pub. We ate Biff and Shepard Pai and took a few glasses of the local beer. My wife thought that the lager was good nice I preferred the American Ale.

We have eaten at this Brasserie two nights in a row. Last night we downstairs and shared Buffalo wigs which were spicy. I like chilli so they were good, chicken was tender not dry. We also had one of the best Pizza's ever "angry swine". It was a real surprise to us and the prices were very reasonable. Tonight we... More

Busy on a Friday night - waited a bit for a table upstairs. Good décor & lively ambiance. Service was OK. Four of us ordered mains Av $25:Lamb leg, Porterhouse steak, Fish of Day(Salmon) and Beef & Guiness Pie. Each couple shared a Stickydate pudding. I remember the meals were great 5 years ago. Sadly, my Lamb was way too... More

Very pleasant surprise as the dining food was wonderful.Expected less as it is above a pub but the lamb dish was like butter and very flavourful. Try the warm bread and heated olives as an appie. Never had this before an was super.
