Had a great brunch catch-up. Service was good, food & coffee was good, venue was good and so close to the main areas including beach. Will visit again when I'm in the area.

An attractive area, and perfect during a downpour we got caught in, they serve lovely coffee, and nice snacks like banana bread, while the breakfasts looked incredible. All dealt with very efficiently.

We visit the courtyard at least once a week for coffee which is very good, we have tried the acai bowl & banana bread, also excellent. It has a good atmosphere the staff are super friendly and there is always a newspaper to read

Quite a grubby area to eat or just sit for coffee. Furniture is old and usually is covered in bird droppings. The coffee can be good depending on the barista while the food is very very basic, doesn't look attractive nor tastes good. Because of its courtyard enviro it attracts beach goers with wet cozzi's and sandy feet also doggy... More

Had our very first meal here, breakfast, and it was superb. The setting is a semi covered courtyard with large wooden tables meant for sharing. Very pet friendly which is not always the case in Sydney.

Had breaky here. The menu offered a good variety to please my teenage daughter and her friend. Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was a bit on the slow side however we weren't in a rush. Very tasy meal.Would return!

Found this quiet, open-air, off the road restaurant for breakfast and loved it. The service was quick and friendly and my eggs were beautifully cooked. I enjoyed the atmosphere so much, I stayed around for a second coffee!

Love this place, have had several great breakfasts here, the service can be a bit slow when it's busy but the staff are great and friendly. The home made beans are a must try and the burgers are munch!! Really like eating here.

Staying in Coogee

Neighbourhood Profile
Coogee
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
