Don't go for the sophisticated atmosphere. This is a down-to-earth restaurant. But the food is very good indeed, and the service helpful and friendly.

Disappointing meal. Good service but lacklustre response from staff when I raised concerns about my meal. Duck was tough and panne cotte was heavy and drowned by nuts. Am not intending to return.
The fact we had several meals there over 3 weeks speaks for itself. Good choice on the menu, sit inside or outside, lots of history in the building that house's the restaurant.
