Visited this pub/restaurant for the third time last Wednesday. We are now making it a regular venue for lunch with friends when they come to stay with us as the menu is varied and not too expensive and it is in a lovely setting alongside...More

It's very rare that we go back to the same place on holiday and have the same food, but the Ploughman's was excellent / absolutely fabulous / tasty / so much variety on the board. I simply can't rate or recommend it enough. Nice staff...More

Lovely welcome on entering the bar. Friendly service and great looking food. Nicely decorated pub, with large interesting fish tank. One small negative, dogs are welcome, which is great. However, they have unpleasant habits of peeing against the wooden pillars. First some huge black dog,...More

We were made very welcome in this pub and all the staff made a fuss of our lame black Labrador. We felt this was a proper pub with areas for drinking or eating and even a skittle alley.

Popped in Sunday night and had the roast and children's pasta. Good portions, nice staff, and tasty food. Convenient large car park and was amazed how large it was inside. You still need to book as popular as good value.
