We were staying at Jashita and ate almost every meal at Sahara Cafe. It has delicious fresh fish and all the Mexican dishes you’d expect from a beachside restaurant. But best of all are the Italian specialties from the chef. My favorite is the fresh...More

A great sea front restaurant serving a mixture of haute cuisine and speciality Mexican dishes and their signature home made pasta.

Wonderful service and delicious food, especially the pastas for dinner. Live music in the evenings. Breakfast was so wonderful, freshly baked croissants daily with most delicious home made jams. Fresh fruit sliced was offered, fresh squired juices, delicious omelets and granola with yogurt.

I can't rave about Jashita and Sahara Café enough. We stay here frequently, so I get too accustomed to the beauty of looking out over Soliman Bay from the open-air dining area at the back of Sahara Café. The food is wonderful - barbeque nights...More

We ate there almost every evening. The owner is from Italy and their homemade pastas are matchless. The seafood is fresh and delicious. A number of delectable appetizers such as the eggplant. The flan is perfecto. Wonderful, friendly staff and relaxing, elegant ambiance.

We ate dinner at the Sahara Cafe for Christmas. There was no set menu and we were seated away from the guests of the hotel. The interior is very elegant and the setting is beautiful with two pools just outside. We had home made pasta...More

This was one of our best meals in Tulum. We started with the hummus which was so good that we were all using our fingers to get the last bit out of the bowl. Even my mom who normally doesn’t like hummus loved it. We...More

Whole red snapper, perfectly cooked over a wood fired BBQ, combined with great service in an impossibly beautify setting. Do I need to say any more?!

This restaurant is in a boutique hotel on a terrible road at gorgeous Soliman Bay, near Tulum. Both the service and food were top-notch. I would highly recommend it. Should probably get reservations in the busy session.

Our tab was $147 for one appetizer, two entrees, two cocktails and a bottle of wine. Not cheap, but not exorbitant considering our nice meal. The pasta was fresh made on site and was delicious.
