If you are in Madrid you should just go is about 1 hour driving, is a beautiful drive through the countryside, the asado is one of the best we ever try. Food and service is excellent. Hope you enjoyed as well as we did. We...are coming back.More

I just can't believe it. A friend recommended this restaurant, probably he's no friend at all, to come here and enjoy their main meal "cochinillo". We were 4 and probably they thought we were yet or something because instead of cochinillo they brought us a...palomillo (a small pigeon) . I've never seen something like that. I had to eat all the bread just to cover the hunger. And that's not all, it cost us only 120 euros plus wine ( the only decent thing) And the service.... probably haven't seen a tip in their life...More

Our good friend Andreas took the time to drive us from Madrid to try the suckling pig here for a birthday lunch. Everything was just right! Well worth the journey and the time out. We shall go again!

I've been going here for about 20 years and it is a must stop for any visitors I'm showing around. Roast lamb or Suckling pig are the specialities and Saturday or Sunday are the days they do this. Be sure to order ahead. It's absolutely...delicious with the full wood-smoke flavour. It's a family-run place and the lamb is sourced from their own farm. The service is always warm and friendly, something I find in Segovia in general. After lunch I reccomend a stroll through the fields to the village of Sotosalbos, its beautiful church and have a liqueur in 'Arcipreste de Hita' a super bar in a converted stable.More
