Our lunch was delicious traditional food made with sheep cheese and natural ingredients. We compliment the chef in preparing such a tasty meal. The restaurant and shop staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food sold there and the area of Zazriva. Good times at Salas and look forward to their hospitality again soon!

This place has been remembered many times since then. The intention was just to travel forward, but because of the geocache we drove to this yard and decided to go and drink coffee. The place was in an incredibly beautiful location and the coffee was beautifully served with bread and fresh cheese. The waiters' outfits were traditional and that crowned the experience.

We had great food in this restaurant - very tasty out of fresh products from the closeby farm! Prices are a bit higher but fully worth the taste and freshness. Also the interior is stylish and nice - big plus is a kids’ corner as well as wooden playground outside. If we’ll ever drive in that area again, we’ll definitely stop by for a lunch or dinner!
Also there is a shop with milk products from the farm - do visit it, too!

Rude and not really attentive staff .
Food was Luke warm ,probably just reheated from frozen .We had some items on our bill which we never had .When we mentioned this to your “lovely “ waitress she said that I should check my bill properly before paying .Lol.
I would advise you to hire staff with some king of respect towards customers .
Never again ,disgusting place !

We are regularly in the area as we have a house close by. Tried the place with my kids for the first time. Tried all ordered dishes we and..... oh Boy!
Horrible! Guys, simply the worst experience we had in the region, and the most expensive. Nearly 10 eur for the local base dish that had no taste is outrageous. Go wherever else in the area and you simply can’t do worse. Will never go there again.....

The best slovak food experience you can get. The atmosphere, personnel, food, you can buy their products in their shop which are delicious. 100% recommend visiting.

we have stopped for a lunch at this nice restaurant surrounded by wonderful nature where you could as well see the view on the rozsutec. the food was really nice, we had dumplings with sheep cheese, dumplings with poppy sead and blueberry jam. yummy 😋. even the small espresso was nice. next to this place, there is also great cheese shop where you can buy all the cheese products. enjoy 😉

We were planning our route to Orava and wanted to make a brake somewhere with a good food. We stopped for lunch, but it was already after the lunch time so there was not so many people around. Though the service was good I would say the food we had was not even close to a quality dishes we were expecting for the price. The mutton goulash I had was not even close to a good food. The other dishes were either over salted or very poorly cooked. The desert was on the other hand too sweet and even our kids did not like it and they like everything what is sweet. Though the restaurant it self is a nice place and you can even buy their local production of cheese and bryndza.

We used to visit Salas Zazriva several times per year. Our last visit at the beginning of January was very bad- in fact we preferred to leave. The waiter was very arrogant, obviously unable to handle situation when more guests were arriving. He literally kicked us out of the empty table for 4, telling us to join a group of 5 persons on other table for 6. We were two... nobody else interested to get the table.
We were very disappointed and complained about the situation- Nothing changed.
Surely we will use service of other restaurants in the area. And recommend our friends to do the same.

When you think that you have experienced greatness well you haven’t until you visit Syrex. Absolutely perfect waiting staff. I was amazed by the speed, friendliness, willingness to give you whatever you want. WOW..just WOW.. Kudos to you guys, you doing an amazing job. Of course the food was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and i bet that the chicken in the soup was free range home fed animal. Not some plastic mass produced meat. 🤩🤩🤩

We tried this restaurant for the first time after local recomendation of good quality of food! Dumplings were not the best in my life but fine. At least with real "bryndza"! Soup called "demikát" from sheep cheese was really really good! The food is little bit overpriced but it can not be considered as a ready frozen meal! It comes from local sources and it is fresh!

If you are looking for tipical Slovak restaurant, this is the place to go. Tipical Slovak style cottage, great food, friendly staff, big terrace, playground for kids and shop where you can get cheese specials or other milk local or house maid products. The only doubt was waiting for food. Not sure why as the restaurant was half full, but we had to wait like 30min. May be its going to be different. Even though, worth to stop and eat or at least buy cheese or butter

The food is very good, however the thith star is given for the incredibly beautiful location. We ate out side the kids played in the wooden playground we stayed 2 hours enjoying the view... recommended in a sunny day...
