Love these guys. Whether grabbing fish and chips to take home or enjoying them next door in the pub. It's always a treat. Good selection of food on offer, fast and friendly service.

Nice place to enjoy a drink on a sunny day, sitting on the deck. Close enough to walk to from the city center.

Haven't been for a while. Both fish and chips were good quality but both greasy, maybe oil temperature not hot enough. So the taste overall was a little off.

Clean, light, friendly, fast and good food. Had a venison burger (with blue cheese sauce!) - very yummy. Check what's on special, ask for advice.

Excellent Fish n Chips plus the bonus of being served while drinking a good pint of beer in the Sprig and Fern next door.

Every time I go to Nelson when visiting from Australia I head here for a feed of Blue Cod and chips! Very nicely cooked, great selection and good service

Order your fish and chips, burger or pizza from the Milton street cafe, inform them that you are nipping next door to the Milton street Sprig and Firn pub, pick up your little plastic animal to put on the table at the Sprig for the cafe staff to identify you when they deliver your meal, and have a drink whilst... We have patronised the combination of Sprig and Fern pub and the Fish and Chip cafe several times. You order your food at the cafe and they give you a little sea creature for your table and then bring the food over when you are ready. Meanwhile enjoy a vrariety of craft beers at the Sprig and Fern next door.

Milton Street arguably supply the best fish and chips in town, either to take away or, working in conjunction with the Sprig and Fern pub next door, can be eaten while enjoying some excellent S&F brew.
