Went here for lunch, it was not busy, which was great as we went during the week. Do not not confuse this place with the Boatshed which is just up the road . When you 1st walk in you think, is it open for business as it has a large open space to walk thru but boy is the location... More

We have been to The Boatehouse almost monthly over the past year. The place is just great summer or winter. The food is very good indeed and very good value. The service is exelent and friendly. We will go again and again.

This is a wonderful place for a relaxed lunchtime chowder or salad, but please don't go because too many people would mean i can't get a table.

The boathouse is a very special place for lunch and dinner. Sitting on the deck and watching the sun go down is just magical. The menu has been pretty much the same for many years, but it is always a treat.

Had lunch here and food was good and neat to sit out over the water, had our granddaughter and were given colouring book with crayons for her which kept her busy.

Only stopped for coffee and cake here, but watching the meals being served tempted us to return for dinner - unfortunately when we went they were flat out and no tables available. We enjoy our coffee and cake, staff were friendly, and the coffees were good. Spectacular view as well.

It is fall/autumn and it pis*ed down with rain last night. But then the sun came out in the morning and it was warm, the air and water was still, and the day was glorious. I walked past the Boathouse, perused the menu (and prices) and decided to go in. The glorious day was made all the better by this... More
