The fish here was wonderfully fresh it sadly just wasn't brilliantly cooked. I enjoyed the experience all the same, it was great to eat al fresco and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery but unfortunately whilst the food looked fantastic the taste just didn't live up...More

Delicious, great options available. We had the cray fish ( which came with salad, rice & garlic bread) and the portion size was on the smaller size. Would still recommend this place for lunch though.

Handy location if you’re on the way to watch the seal. Fresh crayfish but lack of seasoning. Salmon wasn’t great.

This is an experience, as well as an eatery. Order from the menu and they put it on the barbie, eat by the side of the road and the sea, with nothing else around. Very delicious, but not a sit down restaurant if you like...More

We stopped by to try the whitebait fritters. they tasted nice but were not crispy. The seafood platter looked nice but I wasn't that hungry. A nice peaceful spot on the way to see the seals.

Recommended by my brother inlaw. Didn't disappoint. Fresh seafood at reasonable price. We had the seafood platter shared. Yum. This is true Kiwi Dining. Next to a beach in a simple setup eating beautiful Kai. Clean upafter yourself to limit the birds

Great crayfish eaten there. the staff is friendly and welcoming. We recommend it. The crayfish was fresh and was just caught by the fishermen near by.

We stopped off here after reading the reviews that this place got and it didn't disappoint. We decided that the crayfish was a little too pricey for what it was so we went for the crayfish fritter, chowder, scallops and the blue cod. It was...More

Recommended by Lonely Planet. Freshly cooks seafood to order on BBQ outdoors. Very good and cheaper than the local restaurants. Everything served in a sandwich or with rice and salad. Open daily weather permitting from 11am
