A place we love to go to either as a couple or with friends. The food is first class and the service is always good. Nothing is too much trouble. They are even happy to re-arrange tables when there are as few of us. Highly recommended.

There was quite an extensive menu includingvdaily specials. We ordered the big breakfast and a lamb burger. The food arrived quickly, and was well presented. Both meals were generous,... More

It was that nice and great friendly staff thst we came back 2 mornings in a row. There is an outside area a stones throw from the water. Shaded. You can bring your pooch there but must sit outside on the walkway. Very accommodating.

The Mokaba remains my favorite cafe in Whangarei. Great service, good food and a reasonable price combined with a great location at Whangarei's town basin make for an irresistible combination.

This cafe had a very cool vibe to it - everyone was buzzing and happy, and the art shop entrance made for something a little different to enjoy. Service from the front counter was very warm and welcoming, ordering was easy and there was heaps to choose from. Food preparation was exceptionally fast, to the point that we didn't believe... We dined her several days and found the food to be of excellent quality and value. The service was the best, friendly and pleasant staff. Probably the best coffee I had in 6 weeks in New Zealand!
