Ordered a latte and the spicy baked eggs for breakfast. The latte came out luke warm. Baked eggs were only just cooked and the tomato sauce literally had only one slice of istra chorizo in it. I mentioned it was 'light on' for $18. I was brought out more tomato sauce with chorizo to compensate, but whole meal was lackluster!

We stopped off in Ballarat for some breakfast after a couple of hours in the car. We'd read good things of this little restaurant and weren't disappointed. My husband had home made baked beans with bacon, spinach and sour dough toast and I opted for the French toast with rhubarb jam and mascarpone. The servings were generous and the food... More

We were in Ballarat for a morning drive when our daughter found them here on trip advisor, so we thought we would give them a go. The staff were really friendly, and they offer half servings which was great for my elderly mum. They make the proper chai latte as well which is a if plus for me. We all... More

Great breakfast for the whole family. I little bit dark and small, but the food made up for it and the coffee was excellent. Highly recommended.

If you enjoy coffee or hot chocolate & they have an interesting selection of vinyl records for sale, not to mention good food this is the place to visit. Quirky little eatery in the heart of Ballarat.

The space is not big, sometimes it's very crowed but once you're sitting there is not problem The food is delicious, I had the Parmesan scramble eggs and would have it again

We were early in on a Sunday morning..on the way to Adelaide..not too many around which was a surprise as last time it was extremely busy. Were greeted and served quickly drinks came efficiently. Coffee was luke warm and didnt really... More

Love L'Espresso for breakfast. It's usually very busy and the tables are quite close together but the food is delicious and good hot drinks.

always great food and wonderful coffee., finding a seat can be difficult at the busy times but when you know it is easy- getting a coffee late in the day is valued.
