We were staying at the best western hotel that snappers is located, so thought it was worth a try. We booked via reception and arrived to find a vacant restaurant with no one at the door. We waited at least 10mins before any staff graced us to be told they had no record of our booking, and that they had... More

Located on the first floor of the Best Western in Launceston, you will find Snappers. The decor is a little dated but the meal served was of a good standard and within my time expectations. The menu is not extensive, but covers most tastes. Cost is reasonable.

We have been seated for over an hour and had to chase the waiter to take our order. It's an hour since we placed our order and they haven't even bought our drinks! Don't waste your time.

If your going to try to be up market and go for small meal on large plates. Make sure it's cooked perfectly and not dry and over cooked. Had the Brie and mushroom tart. Not to mention they brought out the vegetable after we had finished the tart. Also no aleo with the fries.. disappointed

We were guests at the Best a Western hotel and booked a table via reception for restaurant opening time. When we arrived, although the door was open, the restaurant was deserted, we waited at least 10mins before a young lady appeared. They had no record of our booking and they had a large tour group booking however they luckily (?)... More

Most of the meal was ok, but no where near as good as a visit a while ago. Took a good while to be given a menu. Bread with oil and balsamic was presented in a way you couldn't get to the balsamic. We stated we didn't have long, and after an hour of no meal had to chase up... More

Tram indoors... novelty seating options inside a tram inside a bar. Great choice of burgers. Daily choice. Wine list to compliment dining

As title states, breakfast was horrible. It was a terrible way to start the day and a disgrace to Tasmania. This is because people come to Tasmania also for good food they get from local produce

Went to this restaurant for dinner as we are staying at the hotel. We ordered our meal and bottle of wine ok. Had to get our own glass of water after about 10 minutes as waitstaff very scarce. After about 20 minutes I asked a waitress how long before our bottle of wine would be coming - she brought us... More

Went to this restaurant as we were staying in the motel. Had to wait to be seated as there was no one around to seat us. After being given a menu which was the room service menu with no choice decided to leave before it got worse! Plenty of choice for dinner within a 5 min walk. So can't rate... More
