This little cafe is right in the cbd its a gem. Arrived from qld yesterday so my first toasted egg and bacon sandwich in Launceston - absoluely beautiful, bacon cooked well - egg perfect and toast not looking anemic. Staff welcoming and service great - well done Kameo management you have nailed it.

I visited this café 3 times while in Launceston. I had coffee each time and on one occasion a toasted egg and bacon sandwich. Each time the staff were friendly ,professional and provided prompt service. The prices for the coffees were cheaper than compared to some cafes in Launceston This café provides table service but due to the unusual shape... More

We love this timeless little cafe, it has been one of my old favourites since I was a child, you can always count on something yummy to fill you up. Love their pâté which is made on site, served with plenty of toast and salad, top it off with your favourite pot of tea 'old Style' and your guaranteed to... More

I lunched with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the café. We both had open toasted sandwiches which were delicious, with good coffee. The service was friendly and efficient.

AMZING, only cafe in Launceston to sell toast with butter and vegemite (in sachets). I got to say maybe it's just me but I like to butter my own toast and if your like me go to this cafe to get your cheap toast and butter it all yourself with free sachets. It's a bit old but they sure do... More

If it is a sunny day then sit in the lane. I love this little cafe. Food is excellent and staff are so very friendly and helpful. It has been around for many years and still going strong.

Always being one who likes to wander down lanes and alleyways to find interesting places to eat I was delighted to find the Kameo Coffee Lounge. It was like being in a regional Café from the 1960's (my memory - others may differ in time frame); I found it familiar and comforting. The lounge covered off the two important ingredients,... More
