I love pies and have tried a lot of pies in Australia but Tinnies is the best! The absolute best!! It's not that difficult to get to, if you make it to Launceston, and has convenient parking. But that's just the fringe benefit. The pies are GORGEOUS! It's HUGE and DELICIOUS! The fillings are generous and tasty and best of... More

Coffee prices are what you would expect to pay in a classy restaurant but not a pie shop. Turns me off meeting friends for coffee and cake. $5 for a not so big coffee is just not on. Don't go much any more.

Tinnies is my go to place for pies. Lots to choose from, great ingredients, and they aren't that expensive. If you're after a good quality pie Tinnie's is worth a visit

depending on what type of pie you like you will almost get it here. I have tried other pies while over here and they are all terrible except for Tinnies

If you love a pie, it's amazing. The best pie shop I have been to. Mouth watering, drool worthy. The potato pie is amazing, the scallop gourmet pies are on point! Highly recommend this place it's all sorts of delicious. If you love a good coffee I also recommend this place! If I could eat a pie each day for... More

We were so impressed by the cleanliness as we walked in. Then we were overwhelmed by the choices. Now, the quality of the food blew us away. We were in heaven and were so glad we stopped in for a late breakfast. We were impressed that they were upfront that the scallops weren't local. We then realised we probably had... More

The pies at tinnies looked well baked in the display oven . on close inspection most of the pie was pastry short crust on bottom and puff on top , found the sauce bit salty and the scallops tuff. Still the best scallop pie we have had has been from Melbourne bakery. The pie much larger, flat head tails & vegetables... More

Went to Tinnies for the first time yesterday... Hubby had Roast Lamb pie and I had Thai Green Chicken curry, both pies were delicious, but the highlight was the lovely light flaky pastry... best pie for a long time, although I must admit the last time I had a pie was abut 15 years ago !!!!!! usually go for the... Had the lamb pie. Pastry was so light and flakey. Pies were large and plenty of good sized lamb pieces ( not mince) in a tasty gravy. A range of free condiments were also available including mint sauce. A comfortable area to eat in. My friends enjoyed their pies as well and the lamington was really moist. You can see... More

Tasmania being a baked goods paradise the to the cold, I make exceptions to my usual food intake. Pies just being so-so in Western Australia. The Chunky Beef and Sour Cherry pies were a delight. Chunky Beef - a perfect balance of gravy and lean beef. Sour Cherry being sweet yet pleasantly tart. Go get one of their wares during... More
