Having read a lot of great reviews about this place and through recommendations we decided we had to give this place a go. We went in optimistic and had every reason to be. The food exceeded expectations as well as the service. The Vietnamese style oysters were a great entree but the mains were unreal. I was decided on the... More

Service was impeccable and yet relaxed and friendly at the same time. Lovely selection of food - only, nothing for our teenage daughter except fries. Love the old building and the décor. Very grand.

What a fabulous discovery this place was.....nestled in a converted terrace dwelling at the top end of Brisbane St. The menu was diverse and very innovative, wine list extensive and service was superb, a great dining experience....would absolutely return

We ate at this restaurant last night. It was delightful. We worked our way through entree, main, and then dessert, and the food was faultless. I've eaten venison on a number of occasions, and it can be a bit here and there, but last night's dinner was tender, delicious, cooked perfectly and served with a delicious jus. My husband ate... Great birthday treat! The food was great as was the service. It is expensive but we knew that going in, we would definitely go again for a special occasion.

We arrived very late after the penguin tour in Low Head. There were nine of us. The other restaurant we intended to go did not want us. The waitress in this restaurant said she has to find out if the chef has turned off everything. After about 5 minutes, we were welcomed in. We were given a private room. The... More

A beautiful set up restaurant in L:aunceston focusing on the best produce and wines available locally. Classical French style of cooking methods applied to the best produce (local) available. Recommend to take the degustation menu with matching wines. Service was very professional and friendly.
