We have previously eaten here (12 months ago) and again it didn’t disappoint. A soup taster and lovely crisp bread roll with a delicious butter is provided to each table. The menu has dishes to suit most tastes. We started with entrees and chose the...More

We had our best meal in Tasmania at this beautiful restaurant, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I most especially enjoyed the venison, outstanding!! Drinks with the chef topped off a most enjoyable evening :)

Attentive staff, standard french inspired (but Australianised) food of a good standard, diverse wine list (some very interesting local drops outside the usual Pinot/Chardonnay/sparkling) and a pleasant setting. Oysters were good, fillet mignon and lamb very good. Desserts disappointing. Opt for the creme brulee. But...More

Yum, the food is amazing. I had slow cooked beef short rib and it just melted in my mouth. Service was fantastic. Terry is such a lovely man. Orange and cardamom creme brûlée for dessert, delicious. Love this restaurant.

... in Launceston city centre, few table, relax elegance not to be scared of, casual dressing and good choice of local meat or fish, cooked with a good touch. We had oysters /bacon and cheese, lamp... chocolate dessert. Nice. Price? Average for quality and place.
