Thursday night is chicken Kiev and a drink for $20 night. The Kiev was well presented with chips and salad and the garlic was layered rather than being centred. The staff provide full table service and are friendly and helpful.

visited here twice, first time was a wonderful experience our waitress was very knowledgeable about both local and state attractions and suggested some great places to visit. Food was good pub fare, meals were a generous size and well presented. Our second visit wasn't as good, we turned up early and decided to have a drink in the bar unfortunately... More

This was an ok place. Waitresses were lovely. Food was average. Lots of fried food. My husband had the Guinness pie and chips. He said pie was good. I had the special of the day. Chicken Kiev. Served with salad and chips. Didn't expect the deep fried crumb on the outside. Came with chips and salad. Chips were good. No... More

Had a very nice meal here on our first night in Launceston. The chicken was lovely and moist inside but deliciously crunchy on the outside. The service was excellent and our waitress helped with our choice of wine- it went perfectly!

We have travelled from Perth WA to Launceston Tas and this meal is the WORST so far. Very small serves, carrots & broccoli were raw/ sweet potato, mash inedible. Advised our feelings to staff who couldn't care less. Shame on you!!

Had a few pints at this old pub. Has a cool old english look. Is a bit of a dive inside and was not an overly friendly atmosphere. Might be better if you are a local.

This pub was recommended to us by the owners of the B&B we were staying at and while I was reluctant, our experience quickly and thoroughly put my misgivings to rest. First, service - arrived at a busy time with no reservations but they fit us in quickly. Orders taken and meals presented quickly and efficiently. Very attentive to ensure... More

One of the original corner pubs in Launceston. You'll be greeted with warm, friendly service and traditional pub meals. Launceston has voted that we have the best meals in town! O'Keefe's is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner - it's a traditional pub, where everyone is welcome. Helping to keep the corner pub tradition alive. Sunday lunch bookings essential.
