Very average. Service was good and seemed quite authentic Japanese. It's not a place I felt I wanted to linger. Eat, drink Saki and move on really. The food was ok.

The quality of sashimi and sushi is low. The rest was average. The price is too high compared to the quality

Cute little Japanese place to visit and eat. Food was yummy. Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Make sure you book, there is two sections, seating tables and an area where you take your shoes off. Ordered teriyaki king fish, looked great and was told it tasted awesome. As a vegetarian, I asked if they had a vegetarian bento... More

Good food at a reasonable price with a good variety to choose from as well. This restaurant has a small wine list but is also BYO which is even better. Will be back

Boring and bland, fried dumplings were just like a ball of meat and filled with water and hardly fried. The crumbed and fried prawns $18 for 6, don't know if it was the oil but just tasted like something I could get at a fish and chip shop for half the price. Mochi ice cream I don't know if they... I travel to Japan a lot for business and know the food very well, Ropponggi is not Japanese, it is some kind of dumbed down interpretation of someone's figment of what they think Japanese might be. Avoid at all costs if you want a real Japanese experience.

My favourite restaurant in Wollongong. My partner and I go here nearly every week. And is never let down. I am going there tonight! Real praise to the workers at roppongi

I've been here a few times and the service is always good, the atmosphere is nice, the food is always delicious and the prices are reasonable. Also, you can BYO or buy alcohol at the restaurant. I recommend the sashimi platters, the Drunken Chicken and the garlic scallop dish.

Roppongi is one of those little gems in Wollongong that we visit because of the consistently good food and service. The meals are authentic and it's great for diners on a budget. I usually byo as the wine and beer menu is very limited but the corkage is cheap.

Great as usual as it is my second time been there. (Last time was 4 year ago.) Price is very reasonable vs quality.
