Service with a smile, everyone we spoke with was very pleasant. We had a great night, beautiful food, in a good position to see fireworks for New Years. Lovely view. Definitely recommend..

Torn between a 2 & a 3 to be honest, you just cannot market yourself as a boutique hotel when your carpets, walls & doors are all varying shades of brown, popping some modern art on the wall doesn't cut it. No mini bar, rooms look like they're from the 80's and are in serious need of a refurb, no... More

Went to an Alliance Francaise Xmas function last Saturday. Alternate drop 3 course 2 choices menu read very well. That's where it ended..... if Chef states certain items on menu that's what generally should be served Braised lamb entree didn't state fatty lamb terrine served with stale Parmesan crisp & dead lettuce leaf. Salmon entree similar disaster. Main of barramundi... More

The breakfast spread is average with bottled juice and pot coffee. Would not recommend the breakfast here. Lot of Cafes a shor walk away.

We took the lentil and chickpea burger, and the chicken burger. Both quite acceptable, without pushing any culinary limits. Enjoyable without flourish. The house white which we took to accompany the meal, on the other hand, was really rather good - as was the service and the view of the river.

With a raised deck and tables & seating right on the edge of the Hastings River, the Waters Edge is a great place to enjoy a late afternoon drink while watching the river and the sunset. It's a close walk from town if you're not staying at the hotel, and convenient to restaurants for dinner after your drink.

Positioned a very short walk to the town centre this property is surrounded by the canal on one side and the river on the other. It features a good quality restaurant which opens for breakfast, dinner and room service, a (limited stock) bar, pool and reception (which I believe closes overnight). Any food we ate here was delicious. Our room... More

The meal and deserts we had were delicious, with great service. Prices are comparable with other venues, if staying at the motel you can eat and have a drink without having to leave the motel.

This restaurant is part of a hotel that used to be known as the Country Comfort Hotel, had recently changed owners and the name has changed to Waters Edge Boutique hotel. I think the restaurant has the same name.
