Went here for dinner tonight, below average curries, lamb biryani lacked flavour. Ambience was nice, service was good but quality of food was very disappointing. Naan had a lot of carbon on it, was burnt on edges.

Rice dish was fantastic, desserts were amazing, the others were not bad, but not the best I've had. I ordered six dishes for $92 so it's a bit expensive. A pleasant meal although a bit spicy for my taste.

We have been here a couple of times and while the food is not the worst it is certainly not the best either. The amount of chicken/meat in any curry is minimal. Even chicken kadahi has only 4 small chicken pieces with lots of capsicum...More

We enjoy our curry here at least once a week. We feel part of the family now and always enjoy a friendly reception. We try to vary our choice, but always seem to prefer the chicken madras hot. Good release of endorphins.

Nice enough people but not enough to compensate for the decidedly middle of the road dishes. Not enough flavour, meat too soft, not enough texture. Naan bread too soft, thin and undercooked. All in all an underwhelming experience.

We are no experts on Indian cuisine but, as novices, we enjoyed our evening at the Maharaja. Quiet spot with a charming view, service was good and prompt and the food was fine by us. At about $60 for two courses for two, we thought the...More

We visited on the Sunday night of the Easter holiday weekend around 730pm The restaurant was full with only a few empty tables left, so they were very busy. We found the food very good, beautiful fresh flavours and well cooked. The service wasn't so...More

I ordered the butter chicken and it tasted very bland and nothing like I’d had before. Service was slow and they brought out the wrong naan - we ordered garlic and was served a plain.
