After reading reviews on TripAdvisor my husband and I decided to try Amanda's as we have eaten at most of the top pokolbin restaurants many times but wanted to try somewhere new. The restaurant venue itself is quaint and the views lovely. The menu had a nice variety which appealed to our tastes to begin we ordered the Tyrell's Pinot... More

I little gem at the end of the road. Beautiful views. Staff were friendly and knew the wines. Dinner and dessert were delicious. Will return next visit, maybe for lunch to sit and relax with views.

Reliably high quality meals with consistent, personal service. Standard menu is fantastic, catering for most and has a nice wine list. Always have French champagne by the glass. Eye fillet is high quality - always cooked perfectly and matches perfectly with the best shoestring fries. Alternating fish dishes always provide something special. Desserts must be experienced, they are special.

Dined at Amanda's one Saturday night dining on Saturday requires a minimum of 2 courses. Menu had a great variety with nice range of specials. We went BYO which is a great option with a $5 corkage charge. Staff were attentive but not in your face. Only negatives was that the sparkling wine we started with was on the warm... More

I booked Amanda's on the Edge on a Friday night for a table of five, including one child. The food was delicious. I had the ocean trout special with tomato hollandaise, smashed chats, and asparagus. It was absolutely superb. I also enjoyed the peach and berry crumble to finish. My dinner companions all enjoyed their meals, with special mention of... More

Took a punt on this one for a Monday night dinner in March. I didn't know anything about Amanda's except that it was listed 3rd for restaurants on Trip Advisor. It was superb all round. The service was friendly and excellent, the menu interesting and varied, the wines brilliant, and the location and ambience of the restaurant itself cosy but... More

The local food and wine is worth traveling for at this out of the way restaurant. My friends and I all had the sumptuous Beef Eye Fillet, an Angus grainge 250gram fillet served with a gruyére cheese, thyme & potato galette, Paris butter & roasted eshallot. My wife enjoyed the Queensland King Prawn Pasta, which was linguine tossed with prawns,... More
