This was a good Bain Marie lunch which was good quality and value. There was a wide choice of dishes and good lassi drinks.

I live nearby and eat Raj's pretty regularly. The food tastes pretty decent, they have a pretty flexible and affordable menu, and the service is fast. Not the best Indian in Newcastle, but quick, cheap, easy, and tasty.
We visited here in Feb 2018 and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything looked freshly cooked and the curries we tried were really yummy. Very busy staff with a huge customer volume but were still very helpful.
Great place for a midweek meal or try ordering online and collecting yourself. Very tasty food and as they are so busy the fried items and breads are always fresh. You will be surprised how good the food is.
