Raj's food is tasty, nutritious, with a full range of options and great value for money! Fast and efficient service.

I love indian food but this was appalling. I would not go back. Whilst some of the staff are often friendly, others are very rude. The quality of the food is poor, and tonight I even wondered if the vegetarian lentil dahl was made with...More
Food ordered at 6.20 it was meant to be a 40 min wait. It came after 8 and I live one suburb away! Phoned the store twice all I got was yes it’s on it’s way. Food arrived cold. Thanks Rajs! Your awful service always...More
We frequently visit Newcastle to visit family and most often we don't have much time due to their shiftwork. Furthermore, one is vegetarian and the other vegan. They suggested we try this Indian takeaway restaurant one day and much to my surprise, I found it...More
I went with family but I personally don't like Indian food but my family loved it service was and atmosphere was great.
Best Indian in Newcastle (along with Darby Raj). Fast service, value for money, and generous with the meat. Although Butter Chicken is the stereotypical curry dish for the uninitiated, they certainly do a good one here.
Great curries, very good service, reasonable pricing, wide selection, always freshly made, flavours to suit all tastes, very popular with the locals
This was a good Bain Marie lunch which was good quality and value. There was a wide choice of dishes and good lassi drinks.
I live nearby and eat Raj's pretty regularly. The food tastes pretty decent, they have a pretty flexible and affordable menu, and the service is fast. Not the best Indian in Newcastle, but quick, cheap, easy, and tasty.
