We had dinner there once. It was a very big restaurant and very empty. The food was average. We ordered noodles, spicy beef and fish.

Although their service and atmosphere is not great but hey it's Chinese! Taste was GREAT! They served the dish very prompt. I recommend this place for casual use, not for corporate as they cater tour group and can be VERY noisy.

Had the hot n sour soup, it was alright. The dumplings and deep fried spring rolls were really tasty although slightly expensive.

Just had dinner there. Food is quite nice. They open during Christmas! However, fellow diners, they charge 10% service fee for public holidays.

We had dinner today and being vegetarians ordered Salt and pepper tofu and hang Shao tofu and steamed rice We had repeatedly clarified with the lady who was the manager if the dishes were meat free The salt and pepper tofu was fine but the other tofu dish had slices of what appeared to be sliced pork. The lady took... More

Good service, nice food, good selection. Price was OK but we did have tea and not wine the night we went.

We were a little cautious after all the mixed reviews however decided to give it a try as we were seriously craving Chinese food. We were pleasantly surprised. The food here was delicious. I had sweet and sour chicken and my husband had satay beef. The restaurants atmosphere is that of a relaxed old school Chinese restaurant with lazy Susan's... More

and having spent sometime strolling around undecided as to where to go, we dashed in. It was vibrant, chinese enjoying and conversing, hot and humidity on the windows, a cold rainy night. The license had been recalled and we could not have alcohol byo or provided by themselves. The were courteous, prompt and the food was good: we had won... More

Super average, somewhat oily Chinese food, particularly the fish dish. Not much open in the winter in Te Ananu for Asian food. We should looked elsewhere.

Middle of June so not much open in Te Anau - save your money and the frustration and either eat elsewhere or get something from the Fresh Choice supermarket. Cannot understand how a Chinese restaurant can make bad rice with no seasoning. We had a combination fried rice, soups and wontons and everything tasted the same - meaning no flavour.... More
