Not sure whether we came on an off night, chose the wrong dishes, or the 4/5 rating is just skewed. However nice the view, I wouldn't recommend this place. We ordered squid rings, pork belly appetizer, braised lamb leg, pork shoulder, and some other things. The calamari was crispy but way too greasy. Pork belly was tasty but a bit... More

Dined here with friends on our last night in Queenstown. We didn't have a booking, but they were able to seat us at a table in the covered courtyard area at the back. This was actually a great setting to eat, even though it doesn't have the lake views from the front of the restaurant. There was a great vibe... More

Ate dinner here 1 week ago during a holiday to New Zealand. Enjoyed beautiful braised lamb shoulder with red wine. Beautiful views! Very accomodating staff! Staff had impeccable service yet very relaxed and friendly! Cant wait to return to NZ & Queenstown in the future - will definitely come back for the lamb, red wine & views!!! Beautiful memories!

Loved the vibe here! Good atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff and inviting decor. We didn't book and it was a busy night, so we were offered seats at the large shared table. Since there was only one other couple there we were happy with that as there was plenty of space. We ordered one "snack" to share as a... More

We have eaten at this restaurant twice whilst in Queenstown. The staff and friendly and efficient. The dishes are well cooked and there is an excellent choice. It's a great location too right on the lake.

Having overserved ourselves at the fine craft beer bar Smiths, we were alarmed to find Queenstown hooching with diners. An organised Scot led us to a long table, then a friendly Irish woman took our order (ceviche, rabbit terrine- more like pulled bunny) battered local fish and a walnut and pear salad- all sharing portions- generous for two and freshly... After coming back from a busy tour day, we got a same day reservation for a little later in the evening and somehow got one of the best spots right on the water. The staff there is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They do a lot of small plates which we love. Great wine (it's hard to miss in New... More

The location is great - right on the waterfront. The food itself was delicious and we were very happy with the portion size. We ordered 2 different types of beef with couscous salad and duck fat fries. We had a few beers too that were fairly priced by New Zealand's standards. The staff was very, very friendly, but a bit... We had probably one of the best meals here that we ha don our trip to NZ. I had the lamb and pasta dish with Parmesan cheese, not a combination I had ever tried before but it worked and was delicious. My other half also enjoyed his main course but the piece de resistance was the dessert - the meringue... More
