I'm not sure what we did but our server absolutely hated us. Everything we asked for seemed like it was such an imposition for her. I don't think we were being difficult at all. Asking for silverware when you don't have any shouldn't be such a big deal...ok let me back up and start from the beginning. We got there,... More

It is a great pizza place. The wood burning fireplace was very cozy and the ambience was very friendly and inviting. The pizza was also very good and the service was great

After a long day of touring, we waited 40 minutes for a table on a Friday night. And we weren't sorry. We sat near the real fireplace and kept warm until our table was ready. Friendly wait staff and good Italian food. The restaurant is not lit up much but is decorated with lots of old photographs and other "antiques".

We have been to The Cow a number of times before and have Always been happy - this time we were very let down by poor service, we ordered garlic bread, pizza and soup - the garlic bread never arrived and both my wife and I suffered stomach upsets. May have to be convinced to visit again - sorry but... More

We were recommended by a family friend and loved it! The Cow is tucked away off one of the smaller streets, but packs a punch for a good dinner option in Queenstown. We ordered the garlic bread and the

We went here on 20 Nov 2016. Small rustic barn style with dim lighting (apparently the old milking shed) small intimate venue. Had to wait for a table (recommend booking) Food menu is simple, some pasta dishes and pizzas. Of note the damper style home made bread/garlic bread. Chicken Chili pasta was amazing. Good wine and beer selection. Bit of... More

We keep returning to The Cow after each of our tramps for the warmth, welcoming feel and great pizzas. Has to be the best gluten free crust I've had.... Drinks are expensive but worth it to Iinger and soak in the atmosphere.

We went on the basis of previous reviews, this may have led to an over expectation and under deliverence. Lovely location and cosy bar, however if you only serve pizza and pasta, at least make it special and try to do it well. Very average, you get better value, and even quality from some franchised chains.

The Cow was a great little gem tucked away in the back streets of Queenstown's CBD. Yummy food, Spag Bol was delicious. Atmosphere inside was awesome! A must for visiting Queenstown!

After a day of adventure we needed an early dinner and this didn't disappoint. The pizzas were fresh, crispy based and the 14inch was plenty for two to share. Would highly recommend this place.
