Simple delicious breakfast and good coffee at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly. We liked they put the utensils in a cute toy truck.

Organised chaos. Really busy but don't let this put you off as the staff here are switched on and not on auto pilot. We visited 3 times and each visit was great. Food tasty and nothing was a problem if you make modifications to the menu. Highly recommend.

Tasty food and lovely service -- super congenial. Great place to go just for the coffee, but lunch was fresh and fabulous. We had salads off their diverse menu and fries -- or chips -- which were yummy. The indoor/outdoor atmosphere was right on point. They even supply blankets for you lap in case things get chilly.

We were In Queenstown 5 nights and ate breakfast here 3 times. Great coffee and breakfast choices, good with dietary requirements. Great atmosphere and great people. Left with a smile and a laugh perfect way to start the day.

The place was buzzing, staff friendly and squeezed us in. Loved the savoury mince and sausages. Excellent coffee too. A return visit a must.

Popped in for some takeaway coffee & hot chocolates for my 4 kids. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Service was fast. Coffee was the best yet in Queenstown. The cafe was busy with a very happy vibe. Would love to come back for some food.

Great grilled food, the potato hash and eggs great to bring you back to life form a Queenstown hangover. Did I say, they do the best thick shake in town.

Located right in the heart of queenstown, my wife and I had no difficulty locating this breakfast place. It had a good mix of locals and tourists. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the time we entered the cafe. The breakfast did not disappoint as the servings were huge and appetizing. The aroma of coffee also filled this... More

We visited at 8.30am on a Sunday morning, it was already busy, it can be quite a wait if its busy, the food is good, it's not exceptional though, so it's not worth a wait, it's a good place with friendly staff but you don't need to wait, if it's busy im sure other places nearby will offer great food... The original Joe's Garage opened in 2000, situated in an old Post Office sorting room in Queenstown. There are now seven Joe's around NZ and the concept is the same now as it was then- to be a Cafe that everybody can go to and enjoy exceptional coffee and food presented by attentive and enthusiastic staff, listen to cool music, and above all, have a lot of fun in an efficient "garage" environment.
