It's not right on the tourist section which is great. Quiet area. Free parking. AMAZING food.. Danny knows his wines and will not try to upsell. just perfect. Venison was delicious. My hubby had cod and loved it. Super place. We spent 5 days in Queenstown and this was our favorite meal.

Easy to find and park. Vknow is a small restaurant where quality and friendly service matters. Difficult choices for starts and mains. The cooked meat platter had a kaleidoscope of tastes as the starter. We followed the advise and selected the blue cod of the day. Again, plenty of tastes and plenty to eat. The wine list presents an even... More

We had an amazing meal and great wines from the region. Dan the owner made us feel very welcome and added to our enjoyable night, the broccoli and blue cheese soup was to die for.

This is a great little restaurant just out of town in Fern Hill Queenstown. Unique not only because the interior walls are covered in corks from wine bottles, but there is ample art work to explore around the walls and dare I mention it - in the bathrooms!! The menu is superb and the wine list has the best choice... More

Off the beaten path in Fernhill, Queenstown, we came across this little gem. From the initial greeting to the final farewell, we were welcomed and made to feel special. The restaurant was pretty full, and everyone was equally well-treated. Lovely decor, varied menu, great wine selection and excellent value for money make this restaurant one of the best in New... Excellent food, especially the thin Lizzy pizza. The fiordland venison and mushroom risotto was beautiful. Sunday night, not crowded, friendly authentic service, would def come back.

This is a 6-7 minute drive out of Queenstown in a residential area, but well worth it. The food is absolutely first rate, different from the usual tourist menu, served by one of the owners in afriendly, laid back but efficient manner while the other owner cooks - brilliantly! Very informal, unusual, relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere . Great wines, great food and excellent value for money. No views, but if you're concentrating on the food, wine and conversation who cares? Highly recommended.
