In my humble opinion, the 5 cheese platter for 29.50 represents pretty good value for money. I m not a big cheese lover, but every cheese on the platter tasted lovely. I especially like the Gibbston Gold which I have bought to take home with me back to Auckland. The cheese shop is a must if you are visiting the... More

Worth a stop for cheese lovers. You can taste the local produced cheese, and buy some nice for the wine you bought next door at the same winery.

We preferred the choice for lunch at the cheese cafe rather than at the winery. After tasting several cheeses we ordered a shared platter with a lovely glass of Sav Blanc eating out in the sunshine overlooking the vines. The cheese platter was outstanding and very reasonably priced. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

If you like cheese you won't fail to enjoy a visit here. Cleverly laid out next to the winery there is plenty to see and appreciate. We had a cheese sharer and sat outside looking out over the vines and enjoyed the view and the piece and quiet. Had we not been restricted by luggage weight, no doubt my wife... More

The cheese here is definitely worth trying. We also bought a beautiful cheese knife. There was a souvenir shop too with sone different if expensive items. Right next to the winery.

We bought 6 cheeses and some deli items, and were delighted with the friendly staff and range of items able to be tasted. Well worth a visit.

No doubt it's a must walk in once you visit the winery (which is very very good), you're welcome to try some of the cheese they have to offer, goat and Blue cheese stood out. Prices are a bit high as you might expect. Also there are some really nice selection of cheese related dishes, memorabilia and kitchen stuff.
