My partner and I went to Buster Crabbs for a meal while visiting Invercargill for a weekend. The place is lovely, but the steak could have been a bit smaller, and it was slightly tough. Overall it was a lovely meal

We chose Buster Crabb as it came highly recommended and enjoyed a great meal, and would try again when next in town.

Usually I really rate Buster Crabb, but this meal was a real let down. I ordered the chicken burger with chips, my parents had other meals. The chips were cold and cardboard-y. The burger bun was stale, and the avocado cream tasted sort of off.

Two of us had a meal after working trip, quite a cool old building, lots of separate rooms. Oysters were great. Mains were good, I had salmon and the vegs were great. My mate had a very nice steak. Would recommend and we will return .

After reading some trip advisor reviews we decided to head here. It was a bit of a hike from our hotel but couldn't have been more worthwhile! On arrival, the waiter advised they have a courtesy bus and would happily drop us back to our accomodation, but after an entree and mains..... We walked back!! My husband is in the... More

We were staying in a motel just round the corner and after a long journey didn't want to go searching in the centre for somewhere to eat. This was a really good experience, nice food, plenty of choice and decent portions. So good in fact that we went back the following night.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Seafood Platter (which was an appetizer selection that the restaurant kindly converted into a main course at my request). Thick and creamy warm sauce with fresh, fresh scallops, prawns and mussels. 3 slices of crusty bread to soak up the sauce. Had the famous Bluff oysters (naked!). Different from rock oysters in texture, size and looks. Enjoyed... More

We have a lovely warm and inviting restaurant. We use all locally sourced product with very generous servings with an emphasis on the meat portion of the meal. Our steaks are 250gms up to the "Donald Trump Choker", which is 500gm and cooked slowly over 20 hours. We use fresh Blue Cod and locally caught wild Venison. Buster Crabb is the best choice
