We took our university daughter here for breakfast. Was able to book a table day before. We sat at our table and decided on what to have. After watching other people gathered we had to go to counter to order - we weren't told this. Food was delicious and quick to come out. They do as others state great pancakes.... More

Nice cafe for brunch or lunch. It can become very busy especially in the weekend so it is best to book in if there is a group. Well known for their pancakes however my favourite has to be their homemade beans!

We found the service to be prompt which was great considering how busy they are. They greet every customer the whole time we were there. As soon as customers left they would get straight onto clearing and wiping down the tables which was also great to see!! We had some pancake vouchers from the motel which we used with no... More

We had breakfast here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and found the portions to be generous and the food to be very good. I wasn't keen on the strawberry smoothie but that's just a matter of taste, nothing wrong with it! The coffee was really good and the service was excellent! I would go back!

If you're ever stuck between ordering a sweet or savoury breakfast - Capers is the place for you! The miners special is the perfect mix with pancakes, bacon, and sausages. The pancakes are well made (and as a Canadian, my pancake standards are high!) and the service good.

Really good french toast! Especially the banana and bacon option! The Banoffe smoothie is also great too!

We had brunch at Capers, eggs benedict and eggs on toast with bacon. Both were excellent, as was the friendly service and the room. Highly recommend.

One of the best places in Dunedin for great breakfast/lunch. Extremely popular with students so you are advised to book at busy times. Really good menu choice and the coffees are well above average. Staff are attentive and friendly.

Most known for their pancakes, they are honestly the best in town. Once tried the eggs benedict but it was pretty sub par so I stick to the pancakes cause you can't go wrong.
