The tapas are generously sized and, in fact, could be a full meal for light eaters . Recommend the squid cooked with tomatoes, peppers and olives. Tender and succulent. Mains off the menu, or from the cabinet are tasty and typically Moroccan. Absolutely recommend the...More

We went here for an early dinner at around 5pm and enjoyed the great food at Simos Deli a lot. It is nothing fancy...ordinary furnishing in an unspectacular surrounding, but: the service is fantastic, well trained and very competent, friendly on top. Coming to the...More

This small middle eastern restaurant has delicious, inexpensive food and very little atmosphere. Worth a visit, perhaps for takeout. Eating in is fine but the place lacks ambience.

Yum. Food is soo good! Had the Andalusian platter. Falafels, South African rolls, Dolma, artichoke hearts and so much more. Vegetarian meal - hubby didn't even notice.

Mosaic by Simo is a Moroccan culinary adventure in Addington. A conjuring of delectable tagines, salads and Mediterranean deli item, offering customers a fresh taste sensation of authentic, aromatic spices and flavours. Local Chef and food identity Simo established the renowned and popular Mosaic by Simo Mediterranean café & deli.Mosaic by Simo is famous for Simo’s tagines. The melt-in-your-mouth meat is slow cooked for hours in tagines – with steam rising to the top, dripping back down again and again, making the most unctuous sauce, such as the Moroccan Lamb tagine with prunes and almonds. Perfect with orange scented couscous. It is a complex infusion of fragrant herbs and spices, cooked in incremental layers. Ingredients and flavours including seasonal local produce that take you on a journey. Lemons are preserved for three months to marinate the lemon chicken tagine. The popularity of this dish underscores the effort going into the layering of flavors. Simo’s generous and tasty platters are paradise for sharing, finished with traditional mint tea, cake or marinated orange and chocolate stuffed figs. Vegan and gluten-free diners have many exquisite choices, including building your own exotic salad and tasty tapas meal for under $15. Home entertainers and weekend picnickers flock to Mosaic by Simo during the weekend, while weekday office workers and friends are drawn in for an amazing Bocadillo – a Moroccan wrap bursting with flavour yet incredibly good value. Dine-in and takeaway along with a wonderful catering service. However most diners stay to enjoy the authentic restaurant or sunny courtyard, imagining the East while on a culinary journey that is Mosaic by Simo.
