If you're looking to order and appreciate great wine with your meals, then this place has some fantastic drops on offer at very reasonable glass prices, although some of the bottle prices did seem out of ratio to this. You won't find your main stream supermarket drops here so provides a nice change to many other local restaurants. The food... More

Hi there Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Please do voice your concerns on the night so either my staff or myself can do something to remedy the situation. Our steaks are weighed at 150g+ We have these steak portions for a number of reasons, one of them is because the dish has double protein which... More

We popped in here on a Wednesday night for dessert, a glass of wine and a coffee. It was delicious. All of it! The jelly tip dessert and the white chocolate mousse with violet sorbet dessert wwere divine. The wine was nice and I love that you could buy in 50ml 100ml or 125ml (or something like that) glasses -... More

in a stylish - rather elegant but relaxed (and to support that a linen tablecloth would have been nice) - atmosphere, we were treated nicely and politely. The choice of food was limited - with the advantage that the quality and freshness were very good indeed. Impressive collection of wines served by the glass. A little bit too expensive (a... More

The food was excellent. They had a quite extensive list of local wines. They had even some cocktails although the restaurant, as the name indicates, has reputation for good wines. I had fish (my favorite food) and my husband had duck (his favorite food).

Everything here was OK, there was nothing that jumped out at me and made me say "hell I'll be back again". It anything I thought meh, I probably won't rush back. Having made a booking a week or so in advance we were placed at a table right beside the door, so that every time someone came or went we... More

We dined here on 18/11/16, a Friday nite, with 2 overseas guests and two couples. This is not the first time at this restaurant but the first since the ownership has changed and it is a very nice place for a treat. The food was very very good, great flavor and presentation. However, there were two things that took the... More

Hi mckiwi2016 Thanks for the review! Your feedback is much appreciated. I Will pass your comments about service on to my staff. Agree the coffee should be served after the desserts but this is entirely up to you guys! But nobody wants cold coffee right?! We do hope we can make it up to you next time! Regards, David Napier... We came for dinner at 8 pm, 4 or 5 couples. Some didn't have starters, only the mains. The mains came at 10:15 pm. It explains it all - our annoyance, disappointment, etc. The service is too slow for such a high price of meals and drinks. Vines are too dear. Mine smallest portion of usually cheap Riesling was $18.... More

Felt like Italian food so went to this restaurant which was the first one I saw driving from the hotel. It has got a nice setting but much more expensive than I thought. The menu is not rich and definitely not up to Italian standard. At the end we ordered a beef fillet as it is the same price as... More

Food is good... in fact much better than what you expect when you're choosing which dish to order, particularly as we initially struggled to choose a dish for our main. There are only 2 things that could be better: 1. I had a glass of champagne for my aperitif. It's not good value for money. I don't like places that... More
