8 of us came here for a meal after work last week. I had the Horotane pizza with pear and blue cheese, the fish and chips were popular with the majority of people having that and there was also a salmon salad, and a penne pasta dish (for which I had food envy). Everyone seemed very happy with their meals... More

Had a meal there 1st May ordered salmon, it came with cold, skin on smashed potato that wasn't cooked properly with spouts of some kind, salmon was lovely but sadly no other vege, bland and my friend gave me her salad cost $28 value for money pretty terrible I certainly won't be back

Myself and my partner went here one sunny afternoon while visiting Christchurch. We had the platter which was very good and we would highly recommend. They served good craft beers and yum ciders (including Eddie's cider which made my partner very happy!). Only downside was the long black I had which was a little average, otherwise a great afternoon visit.

After having heard some good things about the Brewery, we booked a table for four. The table we were seated at was clean of crumbs but was slightly sticky and smelt like a dirty dishcloth. We ordered pizzas for our girls and an Arancini starter and MR Ribeyes for my wife and I. The pizzas came and were great -... More

Ideal for a casual meal or drinks with friends. good choice of enjoyable food and excellent choice of drinks.A little noisy when busy but comfortable surroundings. Good specials and mouthwatering deserts. Good service by polite staff. great to just drop in on the spur of the moment. well worth trying.

You wonder why the management doesn't try to do something about the service and improve take-up. If it wasn't for the indifferent service we would rate this place higher because we had a huge delicious bowl of soup and an excellent pizza on a rainy lunchtime. We chose this place for its menu - and because it wasn't as crowded... More

We stopped in for a flight of beer and a dozen oysters. The beer and the oysters were very good. Service was inconsistent though. We placed our order and got served quickly. We never saw the waitress after that however.

Great place to go for anyone interested in craft beers. Food matches the vibe and setting as it is good but not overly 'flash'. Was satisfied with my meal as the steak was cooked perfectly. Would probably go again. Only negative was having to sit on the two person high tables inside as while seated in the bar type chairs... More

Very good beer but the food is only OK. The Location at the Tannery makes this a good place to visit for shopping and the some food and drink. The beers made on site are the best selection in Christchurch. The food is good pub grub but nothing special.
