Awesome platters and selection of lunch options. Nice restaurant area with a cosy fireplace and good service.

We got to choose all of the wines we wanted to taste from Giesen's extensive collection. The tasting really allowed us to choose the varietals we enjoy as individuals and create our own tasting experience with the welcome advice of the knowledgable staff.

One of several cellar door tastings within close proximity. Excellent wines (the pinot noir is not my favourite but that is just a personal preference). Generous tastings and informative friendly service. No pressure to buy.
I asked if they could make anything vegan for lunch and the answer was no. You'd think the chef might have some time on their hands as the place was empty apart from one table who were already eating.
We had a booking for lunch at the winery restaurant and they gave us a table upstairs. We shared a really good platter with salami, cheese, green lipped muscles, sauces and breads. We also had 2 glasses of their best Syrah.
Best way to prove is to go try them yourself but better with a crowd so you can try all the platters on offer.
Four of us shared 2 vintage platters and the were outstanding both in content and presentation. The price was very reasonable and it was wonderful being able to sit outside in the very appealing courtyard.
