This place makes some of the best scones and blue berry muffins in Wellington. But highly recommended are the small smoked salmon quiche. Sensational.

The new owners have got the recipe right for the best cheese scones ever! Blueberry muffins were full of berries and chocolate chip/banana muffins got the tick too. Coffees were good. Nice peppermint slice and range of slices. Friendly efficient staff. Have been back for more cheese scones.

We visited this place now called The Village. Both coffee and cake average. There is very comfortable outdoor seating which is enclosed.

Being a local in the area a number of years go, this was the place to go for a coffee catch-up with friends or family. Since the new owners have taken over, consistant quality and service have definitely dropped a notch or two. There are some old favourites, delicious sweet treats and savouries in cabinet still yes, but the coffee... More

New owners and they have not really put there stamp on the place. The decor is old and dated. Service is less than friendly and its hard to want to come back. Coffee is dependent on who serves you and food is average cafe fare. The owners need to get a personality and put a vibe in to the cafe.
