My partner and I ate here earlier tonight. We had the Venison and the Lamb, and both were excellent, as was the service at the beginning of the meal. Both waitresses we dealt with were lovely and professional. However, when one of the other waitresses came to clear our plates she was very abrupt, so much so that she slammed... More

I went there recently with friends for a meal. We all chose flambe meals and these were all excellent - great choice and superbly cooked and presented. We also enjoyed our desserts - the chocolate fondant is delicious! The service was very good but non invasive - just as it should be in a high end restaurant. Our plates were... More

I love dining at The Orangery, both for the food and the service. The staff are always very friendly with just the right amount of service which is never intrusive. And the food is consistently top quality.

Pleasant setting, public space allows for private conversation. There is private space for larger groups. The service was warm and friendly. The food was of a high standard. Presentation of food was engaging

The meal wasn't that amazing. It was very fatty. There was no atmosphere at the Orangery & I probably wont go back again.

Went there for the first time Valentine's day this year. Was blown away with the service and food.. staff were attentive and courteous. . Been away since then but went again in June. Still just as good.. Best restaurant by far in New Plymouth....😊😊

Attentive courteous service and the Flambe cooking at your table is a real hit. The food is creative with out being OTT with the tender and juicy fillet steak cooked at our table hitting the spot. great choice of dishes at reasonable prices and a nice selection of drinks.

Have been there three times now and every time I go the food is perfectly cooked and presented professionally. The staff are so friendly and very helpful with the menu. As I don't eat red meat I always have either the chicken or seafood and every time it is amazing. Went last Friday night with friends and one of men... More

We stayed for a weekend and twice had the buffet breakfast. Food was fantastic, and the service was excellent, especially the elderly gent who was in charge. My only comment is about the decor which is a tad dated. Otherwise an awesome experience for my family!
