Yes, it's an Irish pub, and the focus is on beer and live music, but they also do really good meals here. The beef and Guinness pie, and the steak open sandwich are both excellent menu choices. There's plenty of outside seating, and it has...More

We were here on a Tuesday so it wasn't busy, but had great food for really fair prices, and a good selection of beers for a pub. Bet it's the place to be on fri/sat nights! Would definitely come back

Looking for a meal we stumbled on this pub in the centre of town. It was busy but didn't look especially promising. The atmosphere was pretty basic and I won't be back for that - but the beef and Guinness pies we ordered came with...More

We went in before Mary Poppins, due to it being close to the showplace. I wasn't overly excited to be honest, the last time I went here, it was dark and dingy and the food was average. Not anymore! The place has been completely refurbished...More

We've been several times, always great staff, fantastic beer, and welcoming atmosphere. Live sports showing on-screens, variety of seating styles/leaners.

Went in for dinner and had the burger and the lamb pie which was lovely. Very quiet but friendly staff and nice fire to sit beside. Music could have included different Irish artists rather than the constant fiddle type music. U2, rory Gallagher, corry etc....More
