The service here was excellent. Decked out in tricolor bunting and images of France everywhere in this somewhat hidden gem of a cafe I had no question about where the owners of this cafe hail from. The welcome we received was warm, the coffee and our cooked breakfasts were hot and speedily served. Deciding on what to order was no... More

Walked passed and popped in for a quick breakfast. Its like we were in France. Ni e soft French music playing in the background. The owner greets you in french. Very nice lady and take pride and love in making your meal. A must when in Rotorua!

Had a really great experience at this cute little french cafe. Staff are really friendly and the food is quality. Everything is fresh, prepared well and adds the perfect bit of french quality to Rotorua. Must try the BELT sandwich, mouthwatering!

This was a cute little find on our adventure! The macaroons are huge and very tasty and the coffee was really good. The staff are very sweet and attentive and even showed my little girls some books. Worth a visit!

Called in for a reminder of our times in Paris and not disappointed. Lots of reminders on the walls and coffee well up to scratch to support the fresh pastries...mmmm.

Good little cafe with good coffee. The $10 breakfast grabed my attention and with an added sausage for $3 was good. Service was friendly with a french speaking man who took our order. The only fault for me was the bacon but for a budget breakfast I cant expect the best streaky bacon. I love the fact I could buy... More

By the time our group finished a tour at Hobbiton, our party of eight was pecking! We happily filed in and found a spacious community table that seated all of us. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food and coffee was amazing and to my delight they had numerous gluten-free options. My husband and I shared the green chicken... More

A fabulous breakfast... crepes = 1 = creamy mushroom, 1 = banana, choc and iceceam and 1 = full cooked breakfast. All prepared and served with a smile. Merci ☺

We had wonderous crepes, French toast, eggs and coffee here. The waiters are very friendly and authentically French. There was very little wait between ordering and receiving the food, brilliant. I would definitely return.

Being greeted with a friendly "Bonjour!" As you enter the Cafe de Paris is one of its unique charms. The French owners, Alain (from Lyon) and Valerie (from Pau) settled in Rotorua 12 years ago. They provide a wide variety of French cuisine and an all day breakfast with a very competitive price of $9.90 . You can taste their unique almond croissant or beef bourguignon. They offer savoury galettes (delicious crispy, buckwheat crepes, gluten free and organic) or dessert crepes both with a great range of authentic French fillings. It is the original French cafe in Rotorua where you can have the taste of authentic French food surrounded by some "ouh, la! La!" Or "Voila"...Alain and Valerie welcome you with Bonjour and you are the most welcome if you want to try your French.. Come and have a French experience without the jet lag....
