Nice little restaurant. The staff are very friendly. Went to the loo and could see them cooking, looked very clean. The food was absolutely beautiful. You can pick your strength of curry, which is good. Large portion sizes, so ideal if you're a big eater

Ate a couple of times here and the parathas kept us going in the wet Rotorua weather. It is cheap, but filling like most of the north Indian restaurants in New Zealand, it follows a similar pattern of organising its menu, the parathas and naans are very good value for money.

Our party of approx.16 club members visited this restaurant for our Xmas get together. From all accounts all members enjoyed a generous and affordable meal served by an efficient waiter. I particularly enjoyed a prawn curry where the prawns were beautifully plump and having requested a mild curry that was exactly as the dish was served. To my delight I... More

Came in on a whim and wasn't expecting much, but this place served some of the most delicious food I have tasted in years. The service was friendly and attentive, and the price very reasonable. Exceptionally good.

Went to this restaurant today and it was the worst food ever. We were a family of 10 i ordered a prawn vindaloo, it was full of chilli powder and not fresh chilli's. Other dishes ordered as well, the lamb rogan Josh was the same full of powders. I wouldn't go to this place even if it was the last... More

We visited this place for dinner on an apparently "busy" night when the restaurant was choc-a-block with take away orders. I dont know if that can be an excuse for the poor food quality though. We ordered Puri Bhaji, Dal Makhni and Onion pakoras. Some food (like the pakoras) seemed re-fried. All the food was extremely Greasy, lousy tasting and... More

If you desire genuine Indian curry, then you have to try out Chimney's! I understand that many Kiwi's can't quite handle anything beyond butter chicken but for those who can, this place is a must! So many options and the quality is superb! I have never left without feeling stuffed to the rafters! So good!

Found this place by accident, great takeaway, good service, best Indian we had in NZ and cheapest meal, generous potions and great price.

Visited this place after change in the ownership , was certainly a bad decision to be here for dinner. The staff doesnt care about you or the dirty plates lying on your table for 30 minutes they are simply focused giving out takeaway orders. " NEVER VISITING HERE AGAIN ".

Thank Alok S
