We dined here using a GrabOne voucher (2 x eggs benedict meals). We arrived half an hour before the end of breakfast service so had the venue to ourselves. Service was prompt and friendly and we waited only a few minutes for our meals which were fresh, tasty, well presented and good portions. I was slightly sceptical about our visit... More

We visited this restaurant which is part of a motel complex for dinner and breakfast. We had purchased 2 Grab One vouchers. The roast beef was virtually inedible with no greens served. Another complained and were given a free breakfast. The steak was tasty and enjoyable. The eggs benedict (breakfast) was good. A bit of a mixed bag for us.... More

We at first chose to have dinner here was because we were staying at Edgewater Motor Lodge which only couple-minute-walk away but also we saw a dinner voucher available on GrabOne. That was a Saturday night and was kinda a quiet night. My wife had a Fish Curry and I had a fish with something I can't remember (which both... More

Writing reviews is something I never bother with, but the dining experience we had reminds me of a scene from Fawlty Towers. I just felt compelled to comment The Management have failed to provide training to their staff. Obviously the waitress was out of her depth with a guest list of 6 and 2 other diners for the evening. She... More

We had brought a grab one voucher for a seafood dinner for two and we were not disappointed. We had the baked fish with rosti, poached egg, spinach and hollandaise sauce. This was beautifully cooked. Compliments were given to the chef on the night. I believe his name is Johnny.

I am usually the last person to complain and will often not say anything, even if it's not perfect. But after having high expectations of this restaurant (particularly the food), we were most disappointed. I felt the need to write this review because I feel that management are at fault here, and I felt really sorry for the very young,... More

The food is expensive and just awful the worst meal we had in Napier. I cannot find one positive thing to say about it sadly . We should have known as we're we the only people in the restaurant we won't be back .

Despite the fact that we arrived 5 minutes before closing time we were welcomed with a big smile! The service was quick and the food delicious (we went for the local lamb).

Dined here well staying in hotel and have to say my meal was enjoyable. The seafood chowder is something I recommend very tasty and not too rich like others I've tried in the past. I had the lamb shanks and veges as my mains and all thou the meat was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone I also had... More
