The atmosphere and restaurant is nice, the service was very good, however the food was disappointing. The lighting is very dim so difficult to read the menu and see your meal. We ordered steaks - one was nice, but the other was grissly. The whole meal was covered in spinach which made it very unappealing, both in looks and taste.... More

Service was spot on and the seafood platter was outstanding. Wifi to keep the kids amused and some nice NZ wine for mum and dad.

Arrived in Gisborne, staying with friends, they took us for a short walk to lunch, this place is great, the kitchen shuts later than most, we had the opportunity to order brunch, or lunch, I had eggs Benedict because I could, very tasty and worth the price, those I was with had tapas, Mac cheese balls, fish tacos, and slow... Excellent personal service by an attentive and friendly bar man, We had a drink and a couple of their tapas which were delicious and a good amount of food for about $14 a plate. Food was beautifully presented and the house wine was really nice. We would recommend this restaurant/ bar and will definitely be visiting again.

One of the few open on Boxing Day so top marks for that, Ok music and good service. Easy to get to. And good parking. Great view of all the activity at the wharf and boat ramp. Will be back.

The dishes were good and they have it in a large portion. However, the crews attitude was like he woke up on a wrong side of the bed. I was disappointed with the service.

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner at this restaurant. My wife really enjoyed her fish; I loved the salad portion my chickpea dish but thought the chickpea patties themselves were a bit dry. Service was okay; nothing to write home about. Overall a good experience.

We had hoped to eat in a nearby restaurant, however they were fully booked and directed us to Soho just across the road. We weren't disappointed - good quality food at reasonable prices with friendly service. We had the chicken salad and Paella mains - both very tasty with good sized portions. Recommended.

I have to say the food was terrific! Couldn't fault it! However, the waitress couldn't Remember how I like my gin and tonic! We weren't offered dessert, the wait staff seemed indifferent and we even caught one of them rolling her eyes toward us... not once but twice! It was to become even more disappointing when my husbands dining chair... More

A lovely meal. Two sizes available for some meals which is great. Food was very tasty, very nicely presented and a good size (for both main size and smaller "light"size). Service was very firendly and helpful.
