We had fish and chips. The batter was thin but not crispy. The fish was a little overdone. Two days later I had fish and chips at the RSA and it was crispy and juicy. I wouldn't return again.

We shared a nice garlic loaf. I enjoyed a very nice Pork spare rib. The ribs were fantastic and the coleslaw was just wonderful. The sunflower seeds in the slaw was just perfect and really topped a lovely meal.
Some times things just go wrong, a little over an hour wait for our meal and then it wasn't cooked completely, wait staff very good but the kitchen needs some work.
Found myself hungry in Gisborne and went to good old reliable Lonestar. Had my favourite Redneck Ribs with Milky Bar Pud which was as good as ever. Setting was right beside the harbour which was very nice. Staff were very friendly in a genuine way
