Superb tapa style plating, a delicious assortment of vietnamese fusion & adventurous cocktails to try. This place is bustling upstairs, quieter & more private downstairs...but suggest you book either way as this place is always busy! The food is outstanding & the staff are ever friendly & helpful. I cannot fault this place & highly recommend you visit if you're... More

Visited Cafe Hanoi on a busy Friday night without a booking. We were seated in the area located downstairs in a basement know as the Parlour. The whole experience was awesome! The room, the staff and and the food were all sensational! The deserts are also a must try. We would return in a flash.

Great service, good pricing, but best of all the food. Awesome combinations to set your taste buds alight. We really enjoyed the quality of seafood especially the prawns. Nice selection of wines to accompany the dishes. It tends to be busy, but thats because everybody knows the food is so good. We will be back again and again, love that... More

Without a booking and on a Friday night at the busiest time of the evening we walked into Cafe Hanoi and were quickly whisked away to a whole new world of food with Zing - all without issue, with just the right amount of fuss and friendly expression from the coolest 'Hipster' host. Taken downstairs into what they call the... More

Food and drinks are excellent, the service was right, the waitress was kind. Being an small place and trying to fit so much people in can be a little bit uncomfortable.

My first taste of Vietnamese food was in Hong Kong in the early 1980s in a little hole in the wall in mid-levels. I loved its freshness, the twists of mint, the light sweet and sour. Cafe Hanoi captures that freshness but adds a much wider menu than the humble little refugee restaurant that introduced me to the culinary delights... More

Lots of great dishes authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. It's a very busy spot with lot of staff to help you with your ordering. Food is served family style and arrives quickly. I recommend the tiger prawn cutlets or the Bun Cha.

I live in the Auckland CBD, just about a block from Cafe Hanoi. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Auckland -- it isn't cheap but well worth the cost. The food is fusion Vietnamese but the sauces are really what set it apart from the rest. Don't miss the fried prawns covered in lime rice (the sauce is... More

Cafe Hanoi is a beautiful Vietnamese cuisine restaurant. The restaurant itself is very modern with a culture tang to it. It's the perfect place to go out with friends, family or on a date. The food is gorgeous and you can see it being made from your table. The staff are friendly and very helpful when helping to decipher the... More

Cafe Hanoi is a modern vietnamese eatery in the bustling Britomart precinct. Our dishes are inspired by the street food of Hanoi.
