Aroy is typical of many new style eateries. Polished concrete floors, not much ambience and good food. All 3 of us ordered Basil Chicken Thai with egg and it was good. However I like restaurants with more warmth and less polish so 3 stars.
No waitress coming to take your order, BUT oh the food was so lovely and such a good price. Nice place to have a meal. Must say they were almost to fast with bringing the food lol, main came before entree then all food came...More

We found this restaurant in Commerce Street and were straight away impressed by the patronage. It was buzzing with activity and we wondered if we would get a table. However the Maitre d found us room and we were soon served with delicious hot food.
Did not manage to satisfy my craving for Thai food. Nzd17 for Tom yum soup with shrimps. Lack the ohm of thai food. Authenticity missing.
