Even though the menu says chicken, duck etc it's all fake "meat". All different types of tvp and tofu served as you would find in any other Asian restaurant. Lots to choose from, I was spoilt for choice! I can't wait to go back.

I love to experiment with food when I'm traveling as a means to explore the city. I look up the 10 best cheap eats in a city, the new vegan restaurants or the city's best happy hours/drink specials to find something interesting. And I do find something special. I was in the mood for vegetarian or vegan. I'm an omnivore... More

Three old friends (one of whom was brought up in Malaysia) were disappointed by dinner at Sri Melaka. We ordered sate, braised fish, a tofu dish and on the owners INSISTENCE "mushrooms very simply cooked". The tofu dish never appeared and all the others including the sate were deep fried mysteries. The food was horrible and we left most of... More

We went to this restaurant recently and have been good customers since 2002. But since the last 2 years and recently the service and food have degenerated to become very bad. The owner an elderly Malaysian women is very pushy and gets you to order certain dishes which are dearer in price than others, and when paying she will also... More

The food here is delicious but the last three times we have come we have had one dish never arrive that we have ordered. When we enquire as to where it is we are offered a substitute and told the original is unavailable as the kitchen is closed. Also be prepared to have to sing and dance in order to... More

Food is excellent, wait staff are friendly and courteous. Manageress/owner lacks customer etiquette, is rude, does not provide receipt for cash payment and no authentic billing system. Check what you order against what you are finally charged.

The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The maitre de advised me not to order any more dishes that what I had ordered was enough - shw was right. Very nice and helpful staff, would definitely go back again.

What they've done here is a little confusing. They give you a menu which has various chicken and fish things on it. Then when you order them, it isn't real chicken or fish. Its vegetarian substitute. But there isnt really anything telling you about this. So we, as meat eaters, ended up with a bit of a bizarre meal. The... More

We went here many times during our recent stay in Perth. The food is delicious on the whole, I only had one dish I didn't like. Some of the mock seafood wasn't to my liking but then I never really liked real seafood. My favourite was the roast duck (vego version), it was delicious and we ordered it every time.... More

I have been eating here for many years and I love the food. Some of the dishes have meat/fish names which can be off-putting for some pure vegetarians/vegans, and confusing for others, but once you know that they are all-vege substitutes, you'll thoroughly enjoy some really tasty meals.
