When I am in Perth I quite often lunch at Seizan and it is always excellent. The food is always very tasty, the service is friendly, fast, & efficient. To top it all off it is excellent value - all in all one of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth and well worth a visit.

I've been a regular at Seizan for a number of years always ordering Sukiyaki. However I haven't been since last year and things have really slipped since then. I phoned the restaurant before and asked if they still served Sukiyaki and was assured they did. I was so embarrassed when it arrived devoid of many of the authentic ingredients as... More

This place has the normal dining tables, the teppanyaki seating as well as the traditional Japanese seating that you have to climb in to get your feet in, a bit inappropriate if wearing a skirt/dress on the shorter side. No removal of shoes required though. The food was average. Servings on the smaller side and price on the higher side... More

Staff is friendly But... just it. It is not japanese food. I think the cooks don't understand how to make japanese food. All foods are expensive, and poor quality. I feel I never go here.

Between three of us we have spent years living or travelling in Japan or just avid eaters of quality Japanese food and this restaurant falls a long way short of serving anything near genuine Japanese in preparation, flavor, quality or service. My daughter ordered 3 entrees to be served as a main and we ordered bento boxes. My daughter's first... More

From the moment we entered this traditional Japanese restaurant it was clear we were welcome. Love the ambiance and the traditional seating (low seating with a comfortable under table pit). The food was fresh and delicious and the staff very attentive and friendly. Would definitely return to enjoy their famous Sukiyaki.

Went there using a coupon, nice layout good service and good atmosphere ( much better than the entrance would suggest ) starters were good , enjoyed the fish teriyaki , drinks were sensibly priced , looking at the normal menu the mains would be $28.50 , not sure it is up to that standard ( but this is Perth )

My lady and I have wanted to come here for a while and Sunday evening we finally made it. It was a little quiet in the restaurant but that was good for us. We were the only two at the Teppan Yaki table when we arrived and that suited us fine. I am not a great lover of seafood or... More

This restaurant is not far from the CBD of Perth which, admittedly, has a few Japanese options and I've not tried them all yet. Anyway, this place is right near the Town Hall and the entrance is down a flight of stairs. Once under street level however the place is quite nice and surprising open feeling. Booth style seating and... More
