This was a very pleasant lunch. The service is impeccable; friendly, knowledgeable, prompt. I had the nasi goreng and it was all good quality but too much soy made it gluggy - if they can ease up on the soy it would be great. Big serves, good quality ingredients. The cakes are lovely. I would go again.

One of the most interesting brunch menus going, never disappoints on the food front! My friend had the zucchinni fritters with poached egg, smoked salmon and asparagus (delish!). I opted for the black pud/tomato/ricotta combo- amazing! And with coffee from Toby's Estate it is worth the weekend wait for a table every time.

I tried this cafe while waiting for my daughter at the local TAFE. It's only small but the busy flow of customers was a good sign. I had one of their home made pies which was excellent - really nice filling and gravy, and a coffee. The coffee was better than average and had a nice crema. There aren't many... More

Very busy on a Sunday morning at 9:30, but worth the wait. Fairly good coffee, and good food. The pancakes were quite tasty. And very friendly service.

One of my favourite inner city casual eateries changed hands December last year and it shows, a common tale it is. No longer the affable Greek (I think) owner as busy Mistress of Ceremonies, relaxed, friendly, a scanning eye on patrons and staff, all running ship-shape, a genuine happy smile. Four of us had brunch last Saturday. All new faces... More

Dropped in for a late breakfast/brunch on a weekday recently. I had scanned the reviews and expected something exceptional....I was not disappointed! The menu is not huge but I had serious trouble trying to decide what to choose. I ended up ordering the Nasi Goreng and my usual black coffee. The Nasi Goreng was extremely good. So good that I... Great pies, flakiest crust I've ever had. I also had a salad and fries with gravy. Friendly staff too!

We have been to Tuck Shop Cafe many times either for Breakfast, Lunch, coffee - it is always good. The pancakes are especially yummy and we also love their scrambled eggs.
