There is nothing much to rave about on their decor and setup. But they serve juicy succulent fatty roast duck and roast pork. Really a great find for good Cantonese roast in Melbourne. Excellent place for Chinese students.

This is not a fancy place, if you want fancy anglicised food, go somewhere else. The ratio of Anglo's to Asians who know the food is always a good indicator of the authenticity. The soup you receive on sitting down looks dodgy but is delicious, go ahead and enjoy. The BBQ Duck looks great but our favourite is the Chilli... More

The food was going along o.k . until I came across the cockroach clinging to the hargau. Then after looking around I noticed how dirty the restaurant actually is. I definitely won't be going back.

The food is very good , you need to try the duck The Parking can be a little hard sometimes because it's on a main road but there is more car parking on chapel street when you see the big ( P ) in blue that means parking And then the restaurant is around the corner Enjoy the food Please... More

We had a very good dinner this evening but after eating we went to pay and saw "only cash"! It is not a cheap restaurant for them not to accept credit card. We had invitees to have dinner with us and since total bill was $125, we had to ask our invitees to give us some money to pay -... More

On 02/01/2017, had a terrible experience dining there. Their famous roast duck was normal & pricey at $52 per duck. Dishes overall was pricey for a Chinese restaurant. Luckily, I went thru the bill and was overcharged for 7 wine glasses @ $3.50 per glass when actually, we only had 4 wine glasses our BYO wine. When I asked for... More

Had my first Australian made Pekin Duck here, compared very favourable with original tasting in Beijing . Meal starts with free soup, it was all very good, but my first luve is Vietnamese food so a bit unkind of me to compare, service good, all in all a pleasant experience

it has always been a treat having roast duck at pacific seafood, but this time around we were very disappointed - it was not as tender and juicy as in the past. we asked for convolvulus with lots of garlic, although convolvulus was fresh and crispy we could barely taste any garlic at all. but we love the complimentary cup... Back here again. It's not fancy but it certainly delivers. Good solid Chinese. Had chicken, scallops, eggplant and sundry other dishes. Nothing is spectacularly good here but it's always solid. Service is brisk and efficient. Fitout and decor is basic. Love it every time.

My experience with Chinese food in Australia is that it is usually expensive and not up to the standards I'm used to in Singapore. This restaurant was good enough to satisfy our cravings however. Order the sweet and sour pork and the 2-egg vegetables. Have had better roast duck and char siew for cheaper back home. Prices were expensive ($20-$30... More
