Back here again. It's not fancy but it certainly delivers. Good solid Chinese. Had chicken, scallops, eggplant and sundry other dishes. Nothing is spectacularly good here but it's always solid. Service is brisk and efficient. Fitout and decor is basic. Love it every time.

My experience with Chinese food in Australia is that it is usually expensive and not up to the standards I'm used to in Singapore. This restaurant was good enough to satisfy our cravings however. Order the sweet and sour pork and the 2-egg vegetables. Have had better roast duck and char siew for cheaper back home. Prices were expensive ($20-$30... More

When I have cravings for crispy skin roast pork or bbq pork or roast duck or roast chicken, this is the place to satisfy those cravings. Simple and delicious. Other items on the menu worth trying are the salty egg yolk fried pork/chicken/prawns. YUMMMM!

Some years ago we had a very good experience at this restaurant. We remembered teh roast duck, roast pork and crab with rice noodles. With a party of 10 we revisited three weeks ago and were disappointed. The duck and roast pork were still good but not outstanding, the soy-sauce chicken too salty, the spinach with 3 different types of... More

More than a disappointment. An insult ! We have been going to Pacific House for years. In fact our end of year lunches have been there for a number of years,. Today was far, far more than upsetting. Service from the start was apathetic, it was my husbands birthday. They brought us the wrong main course, flippantly after we said... More

Modest deco - felt just like we were in Chinatown in SF. Prices are little steep for Chinese dinner. Had the roast duck with dry noodles. This is a lunch menu so was not on the dinner menu but they had it for me - add a little $ for dinner. Duck was a little on the salty side. Husband... More

What a rip off. A plate of roast duck/roast pork, fried beef n veg and 450g of parrot fish plus rice n tea for 3 persons cost $94. Place was noisy n run down too!

Their crispy skin roast pork is just too good. I would have order a box to take home if it wouldn't go soggy. Price was not too bad for middle of CBD. Would definitely come back and try their roast duck next time!

Pacific BBQ has the best BBQ meat on Vic Street. There is a constant takeaway line and if you eat in you get soup and tea. Excellent value for money for both the quality and quantity of meals.
